Deborah Johnson-Bushrod, 52, of King George County died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, VA.
Born in Washington, D.C., she was a retired school administrator and educator for the King George County school system. She was a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
She is survived by one son, Arthur Bushrod III of King George; two daughters, Amanda Bushrod of King George and Adrienne Bushrod of Waldorf, Md.; her mother, Sylvia Williams of King George; two grandchildren, Alaijah and Aiden; and her father- and mother-in-law, Arthur and Ida Bell Bushrod of King George. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Johnson, and her brother, Rodney Williams.
A funeral will be held at noon Saturday, March 28, at Macedonia Baptist Church, Colonial Beach, with the Rev. Joseph Hayden officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She may be viewed from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 27, at Bailey Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
