Welcome to the first post of the 70/80's Group of Bowie State University's blog. The group is a collective of the alumni and students who attended the college during the 1970's and 1980's, which began as an excuse for a Homecoming party but has evolved into a successful annual fundraising effort for scholarships for Bowie State students.
But this blog will also be a networking tool for those alumni who want to find out where friends are now, or promote their new business or brag about their new job or their super-achiever child or merely ask for help. Times being what they are, we need stay informed as well as come together either annually at Homecoming or virtually everyday.
